Let’s call DEI on the real name: Department of discrimination against white males. How come we talk about “equity and inclusion” while being totally blindsided about the other half of the story, the discrimination that people are subjected to no fault of their own?

Low trust crime ridden society

Don’t try to sell us as a good thing this despicable practice, no rational person will ever buy it. You’re just horrible human beings hell bent to destroy lives, you’re jerking of on this power trip and you try desperately to sell it to dimwits as a necessity and a virtue.

And to all of those who benefit without being embarrassed, remember you partake in the demise of our society. It is on you when the thin crust of social trust will break and we will all suffer the consequences.

Fairness and trust are the glue holding communities together. High trust societies fair well better than low trust ones. And there is no exception to this.

Social trust is built on the belief that everyone has an equal shot, that the rules are the same for all, and that opportunities are distributed based on fairness and merit. It’s about believing that the system works for everyone, not just a select few, or a group who shares some traits that the ruling class has a fetish with.

Reverse discrimination flips this on its head. It introduces a sense of imbalance, where people realize that decisions are made based on random group traits rather than individual merit or qualifications. This can and undoubtedly will  lead to resentment from those who are unfairly disadvantaged.

When white men see how unjustly they are treated, trust begins to erode. They will start questioning the legitimacy of institutions meant to serve everyone equally. They already doing it.

This skepticism isn’t just limited to hetero white men who are directly affected; it will spread, making others wonder if they’re next in line for unfair treatment. Our asian brothers and sisters are also worried about the demise of merit based social values, because they will be the most affected, as members of a high IQ culture focused on performance.

At one point the progressive madness will reach a tipping point and from that point on the only way is down until the total demise of the world we know and love.

People will start withdrawing their participation or support from community efforts because they no longer believe in the “collective” good that isn’t collective anymore.

They will avoid collaborating with others, and this will greatly reduce social cohesion. It will lead to the fragmentation of society into smaller, more insular groups that only look out for their own interests.

But maybe, just maybe, this is the and goal of the elites. A fragmented society is easy to control.

I would like to talk about probably one of the biggest challenges the world is facing: the ideological divide between sexes that is accelerating the depopulation.

ideological divide between sexes

A couple of days ago a Gallup poll found that a new global gender divide is emerging: young guys (age 18-29) become slightly more conservative while girls way more liberal

Why is that happening?

And it’s not just a tiny change. It’s massive. And this isn’t just happening in the West, like the US or Europe. It’s everywhere – South America, Korea, Japan, and lots of other places too. It’s pretty shocking and sad to see.

So, what’s causing this? Some might blame the media, but that’s too simple. This is happening all over the world, with different kinds of media everywhere. It’s too widespread to pin on any one culture or media outlet. It seems more like demand driving this – are girls getting more into woke culture and wanting more of that content, or is it the content influencing them? But, given how widespread this is – from US to Japan to Korea and South America – it’s hard to believe that all these shows are just shaping girls’ views all on their own.

We can argue tha this is about women being more likely to go with the crowd and being more emotional, especially when it comes to things like climate change or racism. This could make them more receptive to certain messages. But if women are generally more agreeable, why are they only agreeing with each other or the media, and not the more conservative men?

If being agreeable means you should be getting along with everyone, including conservative men, but instead women are leaning liberal, then being agreeable doesn’t explain their media alignment over personal relationships.

Maybe it’s because the media and institutions hold more influence or power in society than individual men do. But why would women listen to these entities over the men in their lives? Could it be a lack of men or a sense of community in their lives? Yet, this shift is happening even in places with strong community ties, like churches, which used to be conservative strongholds. So, the lack of community doesn’t fully explain it either, since it’s also happening where community and shared conservative values are strong.

The problem isn’t about western individualism because if that were true, then strong communities should be fighting this trend. But it looks like both individuals and whole communities are facing the same issue, so individualism alone isn’t the root of the problem.

There are places with strong Christian values and tight-knit families where this divide between men and women is still happening. So, it’s not about families falling apart, because even in areas where families are close, this issue persists. This is a big deal, maybe one of the biggest challenges our societies face. With women leaning left and men leaning right, dating, relationships, and having children might all start to decline, which could lower birth rates even more. Especially since there’s a lot of talk against masculinity, making women less interested in men, and if people start doubting each other, that’s bad news for relationships.

But we need to figure out what’s common across different places, because this is happening in collectivist societies like Japan too, not just in individualistic Western cultures.

An argument could be that men and women are different, and they react differently to messages aimed at them, depending on whether it hits a particular weakness. Women might be drawn to whatever holds more cultural sway, while men are questioning whether the current trends will lead to anything positive. Men see that things have gone too far to the left, like everything’s turned upside down, and they’re quicker to question it than women.

However, both men and women can be influenced by different types of messages. It’s not that one gender is more immune than the other; it’s more complicated than that.

Another angle could be about having kids. A lot of women under 30 don’t have children, and many might not plan to. We know that women naturally start off more liberal and become more conservative as they marry and have kids. So, the issue might not be the messages about being liberal but rather messages about not having kids.

But then again, even with lots of messages and propaganda encouraging higher birth rates in places like Japan, Korea, or China, it’s not working. No society has managed to increase its birth rate significantly, no matter how hard they try with their messages. So, if the problem was just about cultural propaganda influencing women not to have kids, then we should be able to change that with the right kind of messages, but that’s not happening. So it’s not just about the propaganda.

To be continued

Here I am, 30 years later, living in what’s supposed to be the free world, trying to watch some new Hollywood movie. But instead of entertainment, I get hit by a wave of propaganda and mindless nonsense.

Entertainment industry propaganda

I’m part of the first generation that grew up in the city. Our parents were pesants brought into cities by communists. It wasn’t just me; all my childhood friends were in the same situation. We lived in areas with names from that communist era, like “Partisans Street,” in the “Red Flag” neighborhood. I had friends from “Proletarians” and “Sheet Metal” streets.

One of our friends was nicknamed Mikey. No one remembers who first called him that or why, but everyone in the neighborhood knew him as Mikey. He could be really annoying, but at that age, we weren’t very selective about our friends. Just talking once to someone meant you were already friends. Mikey had family in the West and regularly got packages from them. This made him full of himself and he always wanted to lead every game we played. We let him lead until we consumed the content of his package that he shared with us, then he’d lose his ‘boss’ status.

Mikey’s family possessed a video player, an uncommon luxury, though he seldom enjoyed it due to his father’s strictness. However, whenever his father was away, we would eagerly gather at Mikey’s, where his authoritarian demeanor was forgotten.

We watched all sorts of movies, mainly Westerns, on mute so we could hear his dad’s soviet car if  he was coming back unexpectedly. It wasn’t hard to hear him, his car was loud as hell, but we didn’t wanted to risk losing our video privileges forever.

Mikey also had an extensive collection of comic books, which he generously shared with us. Complimenting him on his coolness was enough to win his favor and gain access to his collection. Thus, we were all diplomats in our way, each possessing comic books courtesy of Mikey.

The allure of American culture was strong among us. The United States seemed to dominate the entertainment industry, and we fantasized about living in a place where we could freely enjoy movies and comics to our hearts’ content.

We were acutely aware of the propagandistic nature of Soviet films, viewing them as nothing more than government-sponsored nonsense. Attendance was sometimes compulsory, but given a choice, not many would willingly watch such films. In our eyes, the only films worth our time were those produced in the free world, where creativity and expression were not bound by ideological constraints.

And here I am, 30 years later, living in what’s supposed to be the free world, trying to watch some new Hollywood movie. But instead of entertainment, I get hit by a wave of propaganda and mindless nonsense. It’s frustrating that the free world, which so many fought hard for and some even died for, is being twisted by ideologues. They seem more focused on pushing their simple, flawed ideas than creating something meaningful. It’s crazy how a few misguided activists have gained so much power that they’ve started to change the entertainment industry into something that barely resembles its great past. And don’t get me started on the celebrities! The hypocrisy of these rich, spoiled, out-of-touch people lecturing us about open borders while they live behind the walls of their mansions is just too much.

Ricky Gervais nailed it with his speech at the Golden Globes ceremony: : “If you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech. You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg.

So if you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent, and your God and fuck off, OK? “

So, how is your society faring today? Ours is not doing too well. We’ve just officially lost the right to free speech.

lost the right to free speech

Our government passed a law that imposes sanctions on “hate speech” and “hate propaganda” with penalties of up to $70,000 and life imprisonment for posting unapproved words on the internet.

Here is how the hate is defined: “the content of a communication that expresses detestation or vilification of an individual or group of individuals” But don’t worry, they thought about us overreacting and specified that this is not an attack on free speech: “Speech would not fall within the definition of hate speech solely because it expresses dislike or disdain, or it discredits, humiliates, hurts or offends”

Now, who and how will decide if an opinion is detestation or dislike? The wrong people, like always. The new law is supposed to be enforced by human rights tribunals, a paralegal activist organization akin to a kind of ADL or SPLC, but backed by law.

What’s funny is that they presented it as a package meant to protect children, discussing sexual crimes and legitimate issues, only to include provisions on “hate speech.” However, laws addressing these sexual crimes have existed for a long time. The only new aspect is the law controlling speech.

The bill would introduce new regulations for online platforms, including a vaguely defined “duty to act responsibly.” A commission of five politicians will determine what “responsibly” means, and unsurprisingly, they will likely be from the same party.

Moreover, individuals could be placed under house arrest or required to wear an ankle bracelet if there is a belief that they will post something hateful online in the future.

According to the government’s own background information: “As this is a preventative measure to protect all people in Canada, there wouldn’t be a need for evidence that an offense has actually been committed.”

We lost the right to free speech. Now, our ability to express ourselves will be in the hands of five bureaucrats and a bunch of activists who will dictate who can and cannot speak. What could possibly go wrong?

This law will have significant real-life consequences.

Is this a good time to prepare a placard with “Long live Trudeau, the father of our nation, and our peoples party!”? Just to err on the safe side.

Back on the road again. There’s not much quite like the feeling of freedom you get from riding through the desert with the wind in your face. With miles of highway stretching out in front of you, it’s just you, your bike, and the desert landscape.

Route 66 - A motorcycle trip

Making a motorcycle trip through New Mexico and Texas along old Route 66 isn’t just a ride; it’s a journey into a world of rugged beauty and forgotten history. You’re cruising through deserts, canyons, and ghost towns, feeling the wind in your hair and the sun on your face. It’s a trip that’s as much about the scenery as it is about the experience of hitting the open road, forgetting all your troubles.

New Mexico’s landscape isn’t like anything i’ve seen before. It’s a mix of vast deserts, rocky canyons, and wide-open skies that stretch on forever. Riding along Route 66, i’ll found myself surrounded by rugged terrain, both harsh and strangely beautiful.

I stopped along the way in some old western style small cities, charming souvenirs of a glorious past.

Then I reach Adrian, Texas. Here, you’re exactly at the middle point of route 66. This is a popular place for bikers, Mid Point Cafe was full of people from all over the states. Seeing their massive, fancy new bikes I was once again reminded about how my small, basic, old Honda Shadow is out of place there. But It’s enough for me, it does the job, it keeps me riding without issues.

Further down the road, at the limit between New Mexico and Texas, I come across a ghost town, Glenrio. These abandoned settlements are like something out of a movie, with crumbling buildings and empty streets where the weed is growing trough cracks in the pavement. I stoped to explore the town and it felt like stepping back in time, experimenting that kind of strange nostalgia about things I never lived. I tried to imagine the lives of peoples who called this place their home, their hopes, struggles, despair when they were forced by circumstances to leave their houses behind.

Back on the road again. There’s not much quite like the feeling of freedom you get from riding through the desert with the wind in your face.

With miles of highway stretching out in front of you, it’s just you, your bike, and the desert landscape. The desert sun beats down on you as you ride and there’s something peaceful about riding alone with your thoughts, with nothing but the sound of the engine to keep you company.

One of the best parts of a motorcycle trip is the camaraderie you share with your fellow riders, when you encounter them. Whether you’re swapping stories over a meal or helping each other out on the road, there’s a sense of brotherhood, a feeling of connection that’s hard to describe, but it’s one of the things that makes the journey so special.

So if you’re looking for a trip that’s equal parts thrilling and soul-soothing, hop on your bike and hit the open road. You won’t regret it.

I heard something funny on the radio today. They say the rental market is at its lowest availability since they started gathering data, back in the 70s. And what explanation did they found? That baby boomers don’t want to sell their houses and move to retirement homes, preferring to rudely occupy over 100 square meters mansions, while 30-year-olds desperately need a home.

How dare they?!?

You get it, right? It’s not the fault of politicians, not because of millions of new immigrants, not because of taxes, bureaucratic red tape stifling new construction  or God forbid, the multitude of environmental regulations blocking new developments nooo, it’s the stubborn baby boomers who refuse to move to nursing homes.

Wanna hear something else funny? A true story that illustrates how the repercussions of certain policies begin to affect the elites who promote them. In this case, a prosecutor from British Columbia was stabbed by a homeless downtown, where they were allowed to settle freely, and the same prosecutors who advocated for light or no sentences now want to relocate the courthouse to a safer area. The irony is unbelievable. It gets at the point where no matter how well they isolates themselves, in gated communities, with private security, the social degradation that they nursed slowly reaches them too.

It quickly dawned on me, while still navigating my studies, that the most coveted asset in the IT world wasn’t skill or knowledge, but rather, a vagina. Almost all of my female classmates were snapping up job offers before even crossing the graduation stage. Next, I discovered that the second most valuable trait was skin color; our class’s sole black student secured a job almost instantly upon completion of the program.

Allow me to share some insights into my white male privileges, from the perspective of an immigrant.

The first inkling of my privileged status hit me when I went back to school. I got a student loan to pursue a program in web development in 2019, right before the world was hit with lockdowns and the rise of AI, which nearly rendered coding a relic of the past. I didn’t see that coming, no one saw it. During that time, a popular meme was “learn to code”. Everybody thought that programming is the most promising career you could follow and men, we were so wrong! But I digress; that’s a story for another time.

To cut a long story short, a mere 20% of us white guys managed to land a job within six months after graduation. Then it was over. COVID hit, and governments around the world, in their incompetence or self interest (or both), decided that locking down the globe was a wise course of action. Following this, as recovery slightly began, AI dealt the final blow to those of us who thought programming could never be automated.

Thus, I gleaned a crucial takeaway: my “privilege” lay in the endless opportunities to hone my interview techniques with a plethora of recruiters and HR managers. Sure, I didn’t snag a job, but let me tell you, I’ve become exceptionally good at interviews! While it doesn’t help me pay back my student loan, it’s a worthwhile trade-off, as I’ve contributed to making society a more equitable.

There’s this new term floating around, “Mistake Economy,” and it hits the nail on the head. We’re living in times where it feels like messing up is expected and accepted.

Last summer I did a US motorcycle tour, from east to west coast and back and I’ve noticed something pretty interesting – except in Wyoming and South Dakota, places with mostly young workers tend to have shitty service. Is this a new thing, or have I just not been paying attention until now? Back home in Eastern Europe and in other countries I’ve visited, if you don’t cut it at your job, you’re out. That doesn’t seem to be the case in the US or Canada. It feels like living on “easy mode” has made people a bit too relaxed and entitled for their own good.

There’s a vibe you get in a lot of places that doesn’t match up with what I’ve seen elsewhere. Other countries have this attitude that if you’re not doing your best, you’re not sticking around. Over here, though, it seems like there’s a lot more wiggle room for not hitting the mark. Or missing it completely.

Could this be because of how comfy life is in these parts? Maybe being too comfortable makes it harder to hustle or care about doing a bang-up job. And then there’s the identity politics scene – it feels like you can’t say much without stepping on toes or getting slapped with a label by the woke crowd. This whole deal with controlling what’s okay to say or think is definitely making things worse, not just in everyday life but at work too.

And let’s not start with the whole “they’re not paid enough” spiel. Pretty much everyone feels like they’re not getting enough dough. But that’s no excuse for being rude to customers or messing up their orders. Just do the damn job right, and if you’re not into it, go find something better. There are loads of people busting their tails, trying to improve their situation. There’s no job out there that pays you to just chill, smoke weed, and do nothing.

Speaking of chilling, you could actually make a living being a bum, especially in places like California. It seems they’ve got this system that encourages people to stay on the streets by giving them just enough to get by but not enough to get out of their situation. It’s like they’re purposefully helping people become professional homeless.

There’s this new term floating around, “Mistake Economy,” and it hits the nail on the head. We’re living in times where it feels like messing up is expected and accepted. Errors left and right, and it seems like nobody’s really learning from them. We’re just stuck in this cycle, and it’s like everyone’s okay with it. When did we start thinking that incompetence is the way to go?

After living half of my life in deprivation, I managed to escape to a world where I learned that I’m so full of privileges that it’s a miracle I need to exert any modicum of effort. I’m still taxed to oblivion, denied good jobs, but my white, male privilege should kick in any time now, and life will be get easier, right? Right?

I no longer recognize this world. It seems there’s no place for people like me anymore.

We’ve pathologized kindness and, in the name of inclusivity, we’ve opened the floodgates to a swarm of psychopaths who will do whatever it takes to seize and retain power for themselves.

And you know what’s worse? I have already lived in this kind of world, in the so-called workers’ paradise of an Eastern European communist dictatorship. I recognize the modus operandi, the invasive propaganda, the censorship, and the inevitable self-censorship that comes with the territory.
After everything we’ve been through in the last century, some irresponsible elites thought that maybe Marxism isn’t a bad idea after all, if it’s implemented correctly. It’s for a good cause, right?

After living half of my life in deprivation, I managed to escape to a world where I learned that I’m so full of privileges that it’s a miracle I need to exert any modicum of effort. I’m still taxed to oblivion, denied good jobs, but my white, male privilege should kick in any time now, and life will be get easier, right? Right?

So, I’ve chosen to distance myself from the crowd, from city life. I’ve bought a cottage in the forest where I can live in peace, breathe fresh air, and indulge in my hobbies: target practice, writing, and motorcycle riding.

While I still commute to work in the big city and remain connected to cultural shifts, I’ve lost much of my drive to fix things. However, I won’t remain silent about what I see. You’ll hear plenty from me.

Welcome to my world. Expect nothing but the truth.

Enjoy the journey.
